Farm offerings:

Gardening Gays Farm is a family farm on 27 acres 2 miles north of the Rappahannock River. We sell eggs year-round and grow seasonal produce in our Market Garden, including tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squashes, pumpkins, and green beans, as well as watermelon and cantaloupe. We design fresh-cut floral arrangements from our summer flower garden, which is filled with sunflowers, zinnias, gladiolus, dahlias, long-stem marigolds, eucalyptus, and a variety of other fillers and spillers. We specialize in pasture-raised chicken from May through November and offer educational classes and farm tours to see our gardens and livestock, which include chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and bunnies.

Powhatan Posies

Farm Offerings:

Visitors to Powhatan Posies will have the opportunity to pick their own seasonal flowers and create a unique and personalized floral bouquet. Some examples of cut flowers available include dahlias, sunflowers, zinnia, cosmos and assorted greenery. Additionally there will be pre-made floral arrangements for sale. The flower farmers will be on site to give provide farm tours and answer plant questions. Special workshops for children will be offered for the budding gardener.  Families, friends, couples, photographers and all who love the beauty of flowers are invited to the farm!

Farm Offerings:

Looking out over the lush Rappahannock River Valley, the property is truly anything but bleak. The 60-acre farm entices visitors with equestrian amenities and a picturesque garden pavilion. Addition to the farm is the Lazy Fox Cottage which went through an amazing transformation. Formerly a garage, the space has been repurposed into a charming B&B with two bedrooms, a spiral staircase and a fully appointed kitchen.

Farm Offerings

They are a 501(c) (3) Non-profit Organization specializing in recreational therapy for military members that have sustained injuries in the service of this country. They offer military members and their families a respite from everyday life to build family relationships through activities such as animal therapy, kayaking, fishing, hunting, shooting, archery, 4-wheeling, or just simply relaxing around a campfire.
