Virginia’s Premier Street Brass Band is coming to Creekside for a Friday Night concert in the park style event! The Elby Brass Band will have you on your feet, dancing under the stars! Bring a blanket & a picnic or enjoy Preacher Dave’s BBQ paired with your favorite Creekside brew!

The day before Father’s Day is a great day to shop with or for the special gentleman in your life. Everyone can enter to win a Father’s Day gift basket. The first five men to visit the store will receive a free treat from ZOË, who will be selling delicious baked goods.

Paddle the Potomac River in search of shark teeth and other treasures from the past!

Paddlers must be age 16+ for a solo kayak and age 8+ (with an adult) for tandem kayak.

Paddle the Potomac to give back to our forests and waterways! Join the Friends of Caledon for a shoreline kayak to help clean up the beach. Meet at the Visitor Center for a ride down to the river to paddle along the shore to collect and remove trash.

Enjoy a magnificent sunset on the tranquil Potomac River and listen for nocturnal creatures.

Enjoy a summer evening with live music and local wine surrounded by the forest at Caledon State Park! Bring a picnic, your camping chair, lawn blanket, and the whole family for this event! Wine by the glass and bottle will be available on site from The Estate at White Hall Vineyard. Please bring a valid state-issued ID for wine purchases.

The featured artist for July is “Hard Corner”.  This local bluegrass band has an amazing blend of harmony vocals and driving instrumentation, the band’s sound blends both traditional and new bluegrass with country, gospel, and original music written in these styles.

Come and celebrate the nation’s independence at the annual Visit King George Independence Celebration on Saturday, July 11, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Sealston Sports Complex (11050 Fletchers Chapel Road). The event promises an evening filled with family-friendly entertainment, community spirit, and patriotic fun, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, arrive early to enjoy the festivities, and stay for the grand fireworks finale that will light up the night sky.
