Northern Neck 250th Speaker Series

The Northern Neck is preparing to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
The NNK250 Coalition will begin the celebration in February with its first program, the Speaker Series, on February 11, 2024 in what will be four years of planned events. This year the Topic for the Speaker Series is The Power of Place. Events will include speakers, podcasts and a variety of other special offerings. Information about NNK250 happenings is continually being updated and can be found at nnk250.us.
The Northern Neck 250 Committee includes representatives from tourism, education, economic development, museums and historic sites, local historical and cultural groups, and government agencies.
The Committee works closely with the Virginia 250 Commission (VA250), which was created in 2020 by the Virginia General Assembly to prepare for and commemorate the 250th anniversary of Virginia’s participation in American independence.
