Annual Field Days are held to demonstrate to local organizations
& the Public with how Amateur Radio operators might serve in an emergency. A premium is placed on developing skills to meet the challenges of emergency preparedness as well as to acquaint the general public with what Ham Radio Operators can do.
The KGARO Club members will spend a minimum of 24 hours actively using their ham radios
and will be available and willing to discuss various radio operations and radio equipment.
