The best time to view eagles is usually early morning or late afternoon. During these cooler parts of the day, eagles are more active as they hunt and soar on rising air currents. They are most often found near bodies of water such as rivers, lakes, marshes, and coastlines, where fish and other prey are abundant. Watching shorelines, tall trees, and open skies along the water’s edge during these times gives you the greatest chance of spotting eagles.
