Weld Tech Inc. in the Spotlight

Weld Tech Inc. has been in the county for 15 years. The last three at their current location on James Madison Pkwy or Route 301 and moved to the current location for more space. That relocation allowed them to expand the business, and now they are looking to expand the horizon once more by opening a welding school. There is a need for welders and a shortage of schools. They already have the instructor and a list of students ready to go. This is an exciting new venture as it would serve King George and surrounding counties and southern Maryland.

Different levels and skills are required in welding depending on what is being welded and where it is located. Just an FYI, welders make a really good living, and it is a job for everyone. There is also an artistic component to welding, and it can be a delicate process. No need for a bigger hammer here. There are welding artists in the area as well. Anna hopes that once the school is up and running, maybe, she can get an introductory recreational ladies’ day of welding. Sounds fun!

Weld Tech has welding supplies, industrial gases, and repair services. If you need to do some welding, you need supplies; this is the place to go. It is a family-owned business; Anna and Doug Griffin agree that customer service is everything. They have many repeat customers, many of whom have gotten to know personally and customers from as far away as Laurel, MD.
