Native American Heritage Trail Grand Opening

King George is excited to announce the opening of our Native American Heritage Trail. This trail was made by the UMW historic preservation department along with Dr. Lauren McMillan in collaboration with the Patawomeck and Rappahannock tribes. This driving trail consists of seven informational signs located in a variety of areas across King George County. Come learn about the culture and history of Native American tribes that inhabited King George County. Their descendants live here still.
