The James Madison Belle Grove Foundation introduces the first historic tour of homes and buildings focused on the history of the county. Proceeds from this tour will go to support Love Thy Neighbor Food Bank and the King George Animal Shelter. If you have not had an opportunity to visit some of these places now’s a good time. Some homes and historic sites will be open to the public. Check the guidebook for dates and times as not all places are open. Some of the places that will be open (Check the Guidebook) are Belle Grove, birthplace of President James Madison, Berry Plain, Emmanuel Church at Port Conway, Old Port Royal School. Historical Society of King George and the Museum at Port Royal and the Dahlgren Heritage Museum. James Monroe Birthplace in Westmorland County, the old Westmorland Courthouse Tour, and the Bell House in Colonial Beach.

The tour is available from May 8th -15th.

Tickets are $75.00 for adults and good for the whole week.
Tickets for children ages 5-12 is $5.00
Children 4 years and under are free.
