American Printing & Signs is a family-owned business, and owner Robert Bradley started this business in his home just doing business cards. He says he wanted to do something that he and his son Robert Jr. could do together. The business has expanded over the years to its current site at 10051 King’s Highway.
They provide custom-designed, professional, digitally printed signs and banners, business cards, stationery, and other printed business materials. They also have laminate services, vehicle magnets, copying and faxing, and can send out your packages via FedEx. Robert Jr. has both an education and extensive experience in graphic design. So they really can come through on a custom look.
When Robert was seeking a way to advertise his business in 2010, he had the brilliant idea of starting his own advertisement magazine, so “Local Guide to Community Businesses” was created. The magazine was originally on racks for random pick up but now is mailed to 17,000 homes and businesses in King George and the Caroline issue of the magazine to 12,000. When you need to find a local business, this is the place to start. The magazine includes business ads and an outdoor article by Mike Fike and is published quarterly.
Like any small business, last year was a challenge, but they were able to hang in there. Most of their business is local patrons and with repeat customers comes a personal connection you can’t get online. Robert says he strives to make his customers happy. He and his son make a great team. We wish you a Happy Anniversary and continued success!
